Dear Evan Hansen in Providence
Dear Evan Hansen is a Tony- and Grammy-winning musical about social anxiety, grief, identity, and the need to feel connected. Its story follows Evan, a high school senior whose attempt to navigate isolation becomes complicated by a lie after a classmate's death. Written by Steven Levenson, with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the show first premiered at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C., in 2015, before opening on Broadway in 2016.
The Broadway production earned six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Original Score. The score includes “Waving Through a Window,” “For Forever,” “Sincerely, Me,” and the hopeful anthem “You Will Be Found.” The musical's emotionally direct themes have helped it resonate with audiences, particularly those drawn to stories about mental health, belonging, and finding support.

Dear Evan Hansen Providence reviews
Toby Mac Hits Deep Tour
Dear Evan Hansen was the primary artist we saw at the event, coming on at the end for over 1 hour. We parked near the Arena in a lot where you pay at a small stand for $10. We left our hotel late, so we didn't get to TWC Arena till around 7:30. It was quite a mess doing the parking lot thing, but we got to the concert. Got $15 seats in the stands and didn't want to pay too much to sit on the floor. Lots of reggae, rap, and such in it. Liked Building 429 and Brit Nicole. Got to see artists whom I didn't know & who wrote songs I didn't know they wrote. Concert was great. Had to get someone to help us with our seats because 2 people were in them. A must go-to event for Christians. Awesome event. Love the top hits they played. Glad we went.
